Something like this is a wee bit more than buying a socket on its own - sure it is the M12 for steering wheel

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-QUALITY-11PC-LONG-SHORT-SPLINE-BIT-1-2-DRIVE-SOCKET-SET-M5-M6-M8-M10-M12-/281113223346?pt=UK_Hand_Tools_Equipment&hash=item4173a760b2

Comes in handy for other stuff too (rear drop links?).

Also, if you are changing the steering controller etc etc, you need a tiny tiny torx bit

I think it's a T7 torx for the controller?

M10 spline was useful for removing my Mk5 seats, and also Passat drive shafts.
