Title: Hid Kit + Projector Lamps

Hi guys just a quick question. My golf GTI has the standard Headlights and i am looking to purchase a pair of Projectpr headlights. There are some on Ebay I would like to run 6000K HID ballast in them. Do i need to get a Canbus HID KIt or can i use standard 6000K HID and use a Decoder with them? Are the Headlight bulbs H7 ? what are the sidelights as i would prefair to have them in white LED to match the HID?

hi mate
I would get a canbus hid kit saves a lot of hassle
as for the bulbs H7 are the headlight bulbs you will also need a adaptor

as for the sidelights you will get them the above look for W5W bulbs

If you are going for the depo projector headlights you wont need the adapters, you only need them if you are putting the HID kit in the std reflector type headlight... which is a not a good idea as you will be blinding oncoming traffic as the beam pattern will be all over the place.... eventually you will get pulled by the cops  :grin:

Im going to save up and buy the headlights from the ebay link above. So need h7 Canbus HID kit? appreciate all the info

I bought the depo headlights for 240 from ebay. hid kit was 45 from hids direct.  led sidelights were less than £5 off ebay.
