Hoping to buy this ..... it has not full but good service history but hasnt had cambelt+water pump changed obviously the car is 8years old now so should i be worried ?
It has the one option i wanted the most which is xenons and i love TR + its colour coded so would save me on the first few mods i would do !
Can anyone shed any light on how much it would cost to have cam belt and waterpump replaced , and even if it needs doing with it being 58k ?
Thnaks in advance

Are you in the north west Ollie?

Looks tidy mate and I think that's a pretty good price, even if it does need the belt and pump done.
Presume the service book is there?
Guy seems to be a genuine good ebayer too.
Has he offered it to you for that price without you seeing it though?

I mentioned in an email that the car is due a belt and pump and he wasnt aware , seemed like a genuine guy and said his best price would be 6300 then spoke to him on the phone , i live 30secs away from midland vw and they charge 310 for belt and pump change and 95 on top for an intrim to be safe

I'd be tempted to HPI check it but other than that it sounds pretty genuine then mate to be honest!

Text the reg to 83600. It will give you all the details you need for less then £3.
I would get someone with vcds to check the mileage on the ecu and check it matches the one displayed on the clusters.
