Title: Removable Tow Bar - Recommendations and costs pls
Post by: nc35 on September 03, 2009, 03:19:57 pm
Hi All

Just been to parents house, asked me to help empty the garage with 50 years of wet junk in it.  Think a tow bar is in order.

Any recommendations for a re-movable tow bar.  The ones on Google so far are not GTi compatible.  But I seen a few pics of them here, after a search, but no details of the bar.  Don't really want to go to the stealer.

Thanking you all in anticipation

Lee

Witter (http://www.witter-towbars.co.uk/towbars/vehicle_technical_details.aspx?vtid=204681)

You just need to buy the VW Rear lower bumper part to finish the job off! (c. £50 + paint)

 As fitted to mine (http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/Steelgreygti/AteraStrada3BikeRack?authkey=Gv1sRgCJTz7-iPkuX7GA#)

Bar was £375 fitted with electrics, undetectable when removed
