Title: Ed30 build number plaque

My car is a genuine ed30, but doesn't seem to have a number plaque in it! Where and how do I get one?

The first owners of the cars had to apply for the plaques from VW at the time.

You could ring up VW, give them some details eg reg and chassis number and see if they will send you one out! Worth a try!

you need to go to Volkswagen dealers with you vin number and ordered it ;)

Didnt want to go through a dealer, as working for a car dealer i know gow useless they can be and shrug it off! so.... i contacted VW uk via email on their website and they rang me today asking for my chassis number and car details and will be getting back to me within 2 working days to let me know whether they have been issued to my car or not! so fingers crossed!

I have one which was ordered into Volkswagen but never lifted.

just had a phone call and they have my plaque  :happy2: just need to e-mail a copy of my v5 and they will send them out direct to me! forget going to dealer go straight to vw they where very helpful!

I contacted vw and gave my chassis number, and got my build number, 2266, but the original owner had been issued the plaque, and wouldn't issue another! So looks like I won't be able get one now.

Went on vw uk website go to contact and send message then they will call you back
