Revving the car in neutral it's seems to stay or be slow coming down from the revs it goes up to sometimes. Any ideas?

This is normal for the TFSI engines, you may notice it happens more often / revs take longer to come down if using an aftermarket air filter.

My standard Golf R (with the tfsi engine) does it also  :happy2:

alot of people are comedians on here mate, stop revving it   i dont know why some people come on forums.. its them keyboard warriors  :fighting2: need a kick up the ass

and its normal on these cars unless its very excessive.. should be fine if there dropping smoothly

mine did it and went when i fitted a lightweight single mass flywheel.. so its probaly the heavy dmf
