Title: Wheel Refurb - Kent area
Post by: 87_totallyvacant on November 21, 2013, 12:34:59 pm
Hi guys,

I know this is one of those topics that I am sure gets asked and repeated a thousand times a day but here goes.

I live in the Kent area and I have 3 wheels (3SDM 0.06) that I need to get refurbed. 2 of them are minor dings and one is pretty scratched up on the face.

Has anyone got anyone they would recommend, has had a good experience with, or heard good things from someone etc. I have heard good things about Lepsons but that they charge a bit more. Found A1 Alloys but never heard anything about them.

Any information you guys can give me would be great.

Especially as its all your guys fault that I am now slamming the motor in the first place  :happy2:

Thanks in advance guys

Lepsons are ok. I didn't find their finish to be very durable though.

Kent's pretty big so I guess you don't mind travelling to one end or the other....

Spit and Polish - give them a shout, had 3 sets done by them and not had any issues.

Give them a shout!  :happy2:

Thanks for this! I really thought they would have been the best, certainly the most expensive from what I have seen...

Awesome I just got their number so will give them a call. I am near bluewater so don't mind travelling to Tonbridge, especially if they can do a good job for me.

In my experience Lepsons were great at providing an excellent finish to my wheels. Spit and Polish were crap, as the wheels had a rather poor and grainy finish.
