Post by: arris on November 22, 2013, 05:20:10 pm
Right im trying to find a ignition live in engine bay, that gets 12v when the key is turned.

Been looking today and couldnt seem to find a fuse that was switched to take power from.

Anybody shed any light on this?

There isn't 1. I ended up running a feed from the fuse panel on side of dash

I was dreading that was the case.

That creates a whole lot more work for me  :sad1:

It's not all that bad, I taped a wire to a bike spoke and poked it through the rubber grommet driverside by the windscreen and it came out right at the fusebox

I found one in the end.

Looking at the fuse box from the front top left hand corner is row of three it's the one far right.

It stays on for maybe 30 seconds after ignition is turned off but is perfect for what I want.
