Just registered on here having been lurking for a while.

Looks like a great forum and there are many names I recognise.

Here's some pics...

Bought her new in May 2006. Still only covered about 5700 miles!
Not modded / all original. Options include 18" Monza's, Armrest, Lux pack 1 & double din Kenwood 7200 nav system.   :smiley:

Only manage to drive it weekends still love the car after 2.5 years.  :love:

The car looks lovely when freshly detailed.  8)

But you should be flogged for only doing about 2000 miles a year thats worse than me.  :embarrassed:  :evilgrin:

I know...2000 miles a year is a waste of a good car I guess.  I bought it with the intention of driving it a bit more than this but it sits in the garage with my works car in front of it on the drive and it is sometimes just too much agro to swap them round unless it's a long journet etc.
I'm quite into detailing so at least I can keep it looking good even if I don't drive it I guess :grin:

I am in a very similar situation myself probably looking at about 5000 a year max. This time of year it only comes out of the garage to stop it seizing up.  :ashamed:

Welcome, car looks great and I can't help get the feeling that when the MK5 becomes classic the red three doors with Monza's will be the ones to have  :happy2:

How?

I've had the car not even four months and it's already done 4000 miles!

That's partly coz it's a daily driver but also love going on detours. A 7 mile trip from work to home suddenly becomes a 70 mile trip!
