Hello just picked up a MK5 this weekend, not a GTI :ashamed: as my insurance company trys to rape me if i even think about doing a qoute.
Got a 54 reg 1.9 TDI 105bhp with 140k on the clock for £2200
Its just had flywheel and clutch done at 130k and the belt an pump done at 120k so thought it was abit of a bargin, it has a slight crack on the rear bumper so going to replace it and get a colour coded lower splitter to tidy up the back as i hate the plastic look.
also has the rust on the wings but heard i can have this done under the 12 year paint warrenty ? any info on this would help.
Ive got a set of Land rover mondials but wont be attempting to run them till british "summer" comes back around so looking to pick up a set of cheap merc wheels or something to run. I have got some Audi A8 winter wheels that 17x8 but someone as slapped matt paint on them and there all peeling but may still give em a quick paint and get them on
