Title: Alarm bleep when locking the car

I have heard a few golfs now bleep when the owner locks or unlocks the car. How is this activated or is it a different alarm system

I got the cable with the car and turns out its not a genuine one so no good whatso ever it wont do anything so will have to either buy genuine cable or find someone in the area or could do it for me

Just tried to turn the horn on and still dont work but just scanned the car and comes up with a code 11134
