Title: Magnetic numberplates

Hey guys

NUMBERPLATES...............TALK TO ME  (haha just wanted to try that!!)

Just wondering if anyone could throw some light on the magnetic numberplate mod?  I have now got myself some new LEGAL pressed number plates (after i kept getting told of by the fuzz for my slightly illegal ones) and i wanted to attach it to the front of my smoothed grille/mouth.  I've seen it done using magnets attached to the back of the mouth and another set of magnets on the plate but after searching i cant find the thread anywhere, has anyone done this and is their a how-to guide?

Hi bud its pretty much as you have said, i didnt do a how too.

i bought these magnets

Circular Disc Magnets
EP336 20mm dia x 5mmA N42 - NiCuNi plated Pack of 10 Magnets

Be careful if you choose these they are really powerful.   :rolleye:
Then i just put 5 behind the mask and 5 on the plate, backed the magnets and plate in some velvet type material with a sticky side on, which i bought from a hobby shop and your done.  :happy2:

Oh and so far i have taken it off for photo's and forgotten to put it back on, so had to drive miles back to where i left it :ashamed:  :laugh: :booty:
And more recently took it off and left it under the car the proceeded to drive over it.  :ashamed:  :booty:  :sad1:  :laugh:
