Title: Edition 30 plaque missing?

Hi guys, im new to the forum and just bought a candy white Edition 30!

What im wanting to know is, how can i trace the number of the car? As the plaque isn't there!

i think you need to contact VW UK customer service and give them your VIN and they should be able to sort you out  :happy2:

I sent Volkswagen UK an email stating that i was after the plaque. After a return email asking for a copy of the V5 which i then scanned and emailed back i received mine in the last Friday.

Turns out my ED30 #2082 came off the production line 9 days after my 19th birthday!

You got the email address you sent it to?

May drop them a email if i take a picture of my V5 surely that will be enough like?

I went through VW main website contact us bit but it was this email that got back to me and from then on the one i replied to.

luxurycars@volkswagen.co.uk

Guess a picture would do. Its just for proof of ownership.

My wrote my VIN into the original email in the attempt to speed things up a bit. My first email was on 6th January and i received it last friday (7th Feb)

Got in contact with VW uk there and mine is number 1044! Altho she said that the plaque was sent out to the first owner and they cant make another :(

Any idea's of how to get one? Bar trace down the first owner!
