I name this part.....Broken!
If its anything like me, you always break the most expensive part and when you go to get a new one you always get the same response "How the hell did you break that, They almost never break!".
When i fitted my DAB aeriel i completely smashed the boot trim taking it off. It was one peice ended up in 3 peices! Went to TPS for a new one and payed well over £100 for a new one (Couldnt find a second hand one anywhere) and got that exhact response!

I broke the little lug that holds the parcel shelf string, won a complete new trim on eBay for 99p and collected from Southampton (30 min drive)
Result!
