Kwik Fit just quoted me £850 for a set of four Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres. These tyres are £90 each on Camskill. How do they warrant charging that much? Who pays for this?
-
I would never ever dream of taking a car there
-
I wouldn't have, unless they offered an awesome price, it was more curiosity. But this is a stupid price.
-
They want £850 to cover the cost of them having to refurb your rims after they've scratched and gouged them when putting on the tyres. :scared:
-
They ain't even listing the f1's on their site... Wouldn't surprise me if they quoted a silly price to get you to opt for a different tyre rather than saying that they don't do them
-
From previous experience many years ago when they managed to fit some brake pads back to front (metal backing touching the discs) i point blankly refuse to go anywhere near them.
I think Nodz is right, i wouldn't be surprised if they perspective quote so that their next best alternative which is already over priced seems like a better option.
