Hey everyone, just a quick question.i have discovered a leak in the passenger front and rear footwell.my bro pulled bak the carpet n removed the panels n the 2 layers of carpet r saturated.threw water onto the car but there r no visible leaks at the mo.im gonna dry it all out today as much as poss.as a u guess,I hate the fact that it's stinking wet and I can't find where it's comin from.any help would b really appreciated

it may be the from the pollen filter box seal not tight enough... im guessing!!!
-
My friend had this on his Leon, pretty common fault to my knowledge... He had to change the seals in the doors and the actuall door sills themselves, We done in it a matter of hours

Thanx for ur reply guys,I have checked the pollen thing but everything is dry in that area,I have even checked the door seals n all seems dry.its mainly around the lower part of the footwell towards the passenger footwell.its real
U bugging me now as I have only had the car just over 6 months n also got a an airbag issue.u know how it is,once one thing goes wrong it kind of all goes wrong, lol.any other ideas except the ones u have both mentioned
-
That's meant to say,it's really bugging me now.with regards to the wet area,it's the floor part itself up towards the rear passenger footing area
-
Just blow it up mate :jumping:

Trust u to say that bro,ur just gelus cos mine leaks n urs doesn't,lol

usual things to look for are, scuttel panel blockages, air con drains, door speaker, door seals
-
Well,I did notice sum limescale at the bottom of the speaker but didn't think that that wud b the reason to y as it's all in the centre n it's dry by the door :-( wud it b expensive to take it to a garage??
