Hi I have a ecu code number 1k0907115L there is a fault with the ecu, just wondering if anyone knew if i can use an ECU with a different letter at the end im sure ive read somewhere that you can , any help would be appreciated.

you need SKC code from the ECU and you need SKC from donor ECU. I`ve had mine done in germany with immo disabled and remaped all for 450 Euro incl. donor ecu...

otherwise you need virgin ECU 900+ pounds., also if your car is above 2007 you might get it virginized via VW new set a keys and locks and coding via VAS online.
