sorry people been done to death but my car is a cat D so wanted advise on what 'I' should do..
I have a 2007 ed30 in black and am looking to sell I have done the following mods
-R-tech remap with print out at 303bhp
-brand new milltek R32 style exhaust
-R32 rear bumper
-new H&R springs
-H&R 10mm spacers all round with longer bolts lockers
-Daves big brake conversion TT-RS calipers with AP discs and vagbremtechnic bells and spacers
-New helix uprated clutch with single mass flywheel
-Tinted the windows
car has 17000 miles with history, I have done a full service and cambelt on it this year ( VW trained tech)
car has nav as standard and 2 keys and all booklets etc
MY question is should I sell as it is (I want 10k for it) or should I take off the exhaust/bumper/brakes/springs spacers etc and lower the price?
-
I would sell the mods separately, for some unknown reason people like to buy a standard car and mod it themselves even though it costs a lot more in the long run.
The cat D will have people wanting the car for a lot cheaper as well.
GLWS
-
Back to standard then sell, unfortunately with it being cat d people won't pay £10k for it with or without mods.
-
thanks for the input guys, shame I cant take the clutch out to sell as that put a MASSIVE dent in my wallet I wasn't expecting
-
If you did take the clutch out, I may have bought it :signLOL:
-
Back to standard and then sell me ya springs and brakes lol

Either way you will get plenty of people trying to offer you silly money standard or modified due to the Cat D but GLWS! :drinking:

I expect a lot of low ball offers, shame as its bloody mint and low miles with good extras
-
£10k for a cat D just isn't gonna happen mate especially as you can find a straight one for less.
-
You must have had this only about 3 months ??
Why you selling ?

M8s got a nice m3 evo e46 he may consider parting with :jumping:
-
Try a 135i. Old man has one and is an amazing car, although you need to dispose of the run flats first! Think he's got 380 odd brake out of it with a remap
