Title: Door mid range speakers

Hi
The mid range speakers in both my driver and passenger doors have no sound coming from them, I've had the car 5 months and never really noticed till today any ideas what the problem might be? It's an 06 mk5 gti with standard head unit and standard speakers.

mids were only part of the optional 10 speaker package, possibly with an amp as well, standard set up it only 8 which is what you will have

Ok I see! so behind the speaker cover there's nothing I take it?

if you get a torch and shine it in you should see through the black mesh to nothing behind. normally you'd see the cone of the speaker.

but thats not to say you can't add a set of 3 way speakers in the door as the grill as you know is already there
