Title: Milltek victim of an arson attack

We are sad to report that last night our current Golf R project was destroyed in an arson attack. One of our buildings did suffer some damage but no one was hurt. This will not affect our ability to operate. We will open as normal from Monday morning and we will be back with a bigger and better project. Thanks to the Derbyshire Fire Service and the Police for there swift response.

As has already been mentioned, the car literally came back from final mapping so to say we were looking forward to giving her a proper shakedown at Blyton today was an understatement! So they couldn't get the car out of the trailer so decided to torch it!! Total f*cktards and scum!! Steve has literally spent 100's of hours getting this car right! Just soul destroying!

But on the positive, no one was hurt, the doors will open Monday morning and we will be trading as normal! Here's to the next project, and lets just hope we get to enjoy that one!

I guess on the upside, at least they didn't get the car because that would have put your hopes up thinking it was stolen but could be recovered only to found they could have torched it at a later time. :sad1:

4 Used Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2's 8x18 ET35 in Gloss Black with part warn Toyo R888 Tyres (235/40/18)
4 Used Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2's 10x18 in Gloss Black with part warn Yokohama A048 Tyres (285/40/18)
Hella Gutmann MegaMacs 42 Handheld Diagnostics Computer
Project MU Brake Pads H14 Compound (Brand New Boxed) to fit VWR AP Caparo Brakes
AP Racing 365mm Rotors and Bells (Brand New Boxed and Built Up)
3 x Red 20L Jerry Cans with either Milltek Sport or RCM written on them
Apple Macbook Pro with Retina Display 13" with Blue Speck Case
There was also a number of smaller items like Go Pro Camera, tools etc and possible some of the parts from inside the Golf R but the fire damage is that bad we can't tell
If anyone can help us bring the culprits to justice then a reward will be given, so please share this info. Thanks!

Because all the stuff in the post is pretty rare, it should be obvious where its come from and have a greater chance of being reported.

If it was an organised/planned attempt its probably already fitted to someones car. Defo a bit suspect they pick the night it was returned to break in.

If the pads ever emerge you can't miss them they're bright turquoise and can only have come through us so I'll have details of every set sold and they will all be accounted for, just hope the scrotes put them on ebay.....

I'll be doing a saved ebay search for H16 and Project Mu - if they go on ebay they will definitely be the ones

Don't think that person will forget the experience in a hurry.

If I were in charge, I would insist on more "like for like" punishment. If they set your car on fire, theirs gets taken away and destroyed unless they can pay for the value of the goods they damaged. If they steal stuff, they pay for the full RRP as a fine as well as returning the goods (or RRP as a fine and RRP compensation to the victim).

I honestly don't know what would possess someone to set someone else's car on fire. How does that bring anyone any satisfaction?
