Title: Standard Ed30 CD/radio
Post by: Mako V12V on October 12, 2009, 11:34:43 pm: Does the bog standard Ed30 CD player/radio only have the facility to hold one CD? How would i know if mine has a 6 CD autochanger?

Sion got that replaced with a RNS510 though :happy2:

When I bought my R32 they didn't advertise it as having the 6 disc in dash and during my journey home I noticed the extra buttons and then the 'LOAD' button! Happy days! :jumpmove:

WHM - where did you source a RNS510 from, who fit this for you and at what cost?

Have a search on here though as several have bought from ebay sellers and have got good deals - I'd budget somewhere between Â£500 - Â£700 at the moment.

As for fitting - its a 20 - 30 min self install job. Again, I'm pretty sure there are links on here somewhere with installation instructions - I would look them up but a bit short of time at work at the moment.

Post by: Beddie on October 13, 2009, 07:43:13 pm: My ED30 was another with a 'bonus' RCD500 thrown in for free, arrived to view it at the dealers and found it had the 500 and cruise that had not been noted on the advert, got it home and had a proper nosey round and found the Soundpack amp under the passenger seat and an ipod link in the glovebox, result! :laugh:
