Hello Chaps,
Does anyone on here have any experience of bleeding mk5 brakes, Do I need vag-com? Reason I ask is when I bled the brakes on a mk4 Golf it was a complete arse and wondered if it was the same on the mk5's?
Any help appreciated.
Thanks,

Nice one :happy2:
Looks like the old and easy way of doing it. No using vag-com to activate the ABS pump.

Erm, I am afraid that the ABS should be cycled for correct bleeding.
If you dont have vag-com, then bleed them once, go for a drive, find a greasy wet playing field (or surface with similar grip), and brake hard enough to activate the ABS. Some use of traction control will also help to cycle the ABS fluid chambers.
Then go home and re-bleed.
