Post by: mrggg on May 31, 2014, 03:05:19 am

If you look in the boot of the car near the spare wheel well there'll be a sticker with a load of numbers and letters on it (called PR codes). Put those codes into this search box (http://prsearch.planetvag.com/) and it'll give you a run down of what was fitted from factory.

There's a free app, too, for the boot sticker codes.
Search for VW Companion Lite

"Fully loaded" is along the lines of "Passed with flying colours" in relation to an MOT test, when in reality there could well have been advisories. Fully loaded but without a spare wheel, sat nav, bluetooth, and many other things which may or may not be fitted. For example, if there's a choice of alloy wheels, which ones would come under the fully loaded heading?

Well I do know the sales man very well, so the term "fully loaded" was a big of a giggle and was followed up with the actual spec list..
• 18" monza 2's
• Full heated electric leather seats
• Xenon's
• Rear parking sensors
• sun roof
• tinted windows
• cruise control
• auto wipers.
• auto dimming folding wing mirrors.
• sat nav.
• 11 speaker audio.

I Don't think that's a bad spec.    :happy2:

yep that websites pretty good just tried it my self, got loads of info and all seems to match what I currently have on the car when I bought it in December
, unfortunately cant check everything which is on the sticker in the boot as its very faded and tearing in a few places, might have to give VW a ring tho

Are the codes each 3 characters long or how do they work?
