Title: Windscreen replacement light sensor
Post by: xjay1337 on June 06, 2014, 03:30:07 pm
I had my windscreen replaced today.

Now anytime the ignition is on, the  lights come on (auto lights). The rain sensor works properly still.

Has anyone else had this before, and if so, what did they do to fix it.

I mentioned this to the windscreen matey and he said to just "leave it for a while and it should reset itself"..

The glass was non OEM (they only told me when they rocked up to fit it.....) but of the same colour (blue tint) as the original glass.

Think there is a setting in the RLS to adjust the tint of the glass sensitivity, might be worth trying another value?

There is indeed. I will give that a bash.  :drinking:

I nearly asked you about this on FB after I saw your photo. This is the reason that I am reluctant to change my windscreen.  :fighting:
