Title: Aftermarket xenons and headlights not working

Bought some after market projectors and Super canbus HIDs which worked for a day no errors. Drove to work this morning and both have stopped working with a dash error?!

Any ideas what could be the problem?

I'd say the built in device either resistors or other thing have not fooled the golf into thinking it still had halogen bulbs, if it then knows there's a problem it turns the circuit off, don't quote me on this but you may have to enable xenons with vcds?

Either coding with VCDS or adaptors maybe?

Got in the car to drive home no error and lights work... I'm think cause it's my second time using the car since install Ecu is getting abit confused with the power consumption so might just be calibrating a tad ?  :signLOL:
