Title: Essex/Suffolk VW specialist and service cost

Just wondering if anyone is near me and knows of a decent VW specialist i can take my GTi to for a major service and possibly a new cambelt. I live in sudbury suffolk so places like bury st edmunds, colchester, braintree.

Also my car has just clocked 88000 miles, it last had a cambelt in 2014 which i believe means its time for a new one, it also needs a major service, how much am i looking at for these at a specialist as according to the vw website a vw dealer will charge me around £700ish for both.

Your VW dealer should price match against published prices of an indy using genuine VAG parts within 15 miles, so get some local quotes, then email the service manager.
I used AMD Essex prices of £399 for cambelt & waterpump change and vw Chelmsford matched it. AMD current price £312  :party:
