Title: Goodwood festival of speed
Post by: lady_gti on June 29, 2014, 12:10:54 am
Goodwood was absolutely amazing I went on the Friday and can say it was a great day
Managed to grab a 20% off revo  choice on map has been made.

The big shame sadly was the vw stand, obviously one of the main bits I wanted to see. No mk7 gti only gte and no golf R400 only golf R. All the merchandise was R where is gti going? I hope we are not all going hybrid I love the smell of the 2.0 in the morning

All other vag manufacturers made a massive scene with their latest and greatest is it only me that think vw really let the side down?

They probably spent too much at Worthersee.

yeah I agree, the vw stand was smallest and less interesting than audi, seat & skoda.
The wera tooling stand was more interesting with a BAC mono.....

It's only VW's second year at Goodwood, so they do have some catching up to get to the quality of other manufacturers who have been attending for years, IMHO.
I was glad to see their presence there last year at long last!
