Title: Broken high pressure fuel pump sensor!!!
Post by: ginge 0116 on July 07, 2014, 11:18:24 pm
Hi as above, my mates engine cover has broke its rubber lugs and in turn has snapped the sensor on top of the fuel pump, I've read a few post on the internet and the are all saying that vw doesn't sell this sensor on its own, and that you have to buy a new fuel pump? Any info would be really appreciated thanks sam.

What you read is correct so check for a second hand one in the for sale section.

Hi old post I know but I have a crack in my sensor I have noticed and having problems with very slight fuel cuts, would this cause this? Or would the cam follower be the cause? Thanks.

Sensor could easily cause it. Try and glue it back together, VCDS data logging wil ltell you what the cause it
