Iv bought some more subframes, just wondering if anyone has done it before
-
Personally I haven't seen it done but it would look good IMO.

I will upload some pictures if I manage to get them to fit.

Look forward to seeing the final result if all goes to plan. :popcornsoda:

If they are the same as the ones in the 200 they will fall to bits on a few months.

Be nice if they were re-trimmed at some point like this http://www.edgeautomotive.co.uk/?portfolio=cobra-clubman-vinyl-retrim
EDGE Automotive do some nice work, They've also got some of these seats in a golf in their portfolio. Also have a look at plush automotive and various other places for ideas if you were planning to re-trim them in the future. :happy2:

Seats from the mk2 Focus RS, Corsa VXR and Clio 197 all go in with a bit of tweaking.

It's a barstewards to do but you just cut and weld the mk5 subframes, but you've you to be carful on height as loads of people have had trouble with them hiring the roof or sittin too heigh

If you learn to bounce in and out there absolutely fine I did 33k on mine with no wear and next owner dug a hole at 40k

Mine were OK when my R27 went to its new home. It had done about 28K at the time, I think.

If they're like the other CS's you can just buy the appropriate subframes from Recaro, around £180 per seat, for individual application.
