Title: BCS Non Powervalve system for Skoda Octavia 2 VRs 2,0 TFSI
Post by: danishmkvgti on July 27, 2014, 07:56:46 pm: Well there's already several reviews on BCS products but i still want to draw everyones attention towards this.
Background is the owner has had an engine completely built both top and bottom and gotten all the moving parts balanced. Then it was fitted with his current Milltek catback along with a CTS downpipe due to him having a CTS manifold and GTX3071R turbo making app. 445bhp at 2,1 Bar boost.
He has become addicted through me to track days and concerns about him being to loud (95dB and above) lead him to order a custom BCS non powervalve system with an optional 3 silencer that could be fitted for track days.
Upon fitment of the system the car car dynoed and it turned out that he was able to make the prevoiusly app. 445bhp at only 1,5 Bar :jumping:
So from only changing the catback he has a drop in backpressure that led to a 0,6Bar boost drop and maintaining the same level of power due to the excellent product from BCS :notworthy:

What did the car originally make at 1.5Bar so we have a true comparison. Adding boost does not always yield large increases in power.
