Title: Pcv valve, revo or bsh.
Post by: Batfink76 on August 22, 2014, 07:06:52 pm
Hi all,

Recently bought my black edition 30 and the last week or so it has started idling at around 1000rpm and occasionally hunting up to 1300 before dropping back to 1000.
Have researched the forum and narrowed it down to pcv but can't decide which is the best route to take, oem, revo or bsh. The car is completely standard at mo and only intend on possibly a revo map and exhaust.

Any advice is much appreciated :happy2:

Latest pcv will do the job and most will recommend it i prefer a pcv blank though bsh or revo or garagemidnight all the same

is there any advantages or disadvantages with the blanking plate? Just a question to raise to give people a way to sway either way when doing this..

The TFSI is designed to run with a PCV, so it's probably best to keep the system. Use the latest part number  :happy2:

Thanks for the reply Guys. So just to confirm, the correct part number for the PCV for Ed30 is 06F 129 101 N?
