Be careful with this seller (NOT demon666) on eBay!!!!!
I contacted him to see if the seats were recaro or not and he claimed they are. I asked for pictures which he sent and they were recaro's! We agreed a reasonable price and I said I would collect that weekend. He claimed that they don't have cash at their yard so wanted payment. PayPal not accepted cause a 21 day wait to get money(?) bank transfer only - I said my bank would not allow me to transfer so would be cash but we can go to his bank and pay straight in when iv seen the seats and happy with them.
I was suspicious as I was sure I'd seen the pictures he'd sent before and the piece of paper with "his details" on was un readable. I searched old for sale ads and found the same pics on an old for sale over with R32 owners forum. I asked for more pictures with his email address on which he couldn't to cause his printer didn't work and his handwriting is bad so can't write!!??!! He eventually sent me a picture he had just taken (without info paper) of the actual seat. The second picture was of RS4 seats not the R buckets originally sent. These pictures I also found on an old for sale advert.
I would suggest this guy is a scammer and will only want bank transfer - be careful with this person!!

I also messaged him regarding some parts, he said the garage was only open Monday - Friday 10am - 2pm? Which I found very strange hours for a salave yard & I asked about collecting on the weekend but he said he couldn't meet me down the yard on Saturday? Seemed very keen to post the goods to me as its easier apparently... AVOID THIS SELLER/SCAMMER :fighting:

Defo the eBay seller is 100% dodgy!
I messaged for the seats but he only wants to send the items, no collection. I mentioned I lived around the corner and can collect but wouldn't give me the unit number or an exact address.
He's already done a few people over via bank transfer. I've reported it to eBay but they don't care.
Bottom line, if it's too good to be true it probably is.
