Badge on steering wheel can it be replaced as mines slowly fading??

No as it's attached to the air bag. You'd need to replace the whole thing.  :happy2:

A possible solution to the problem (assuming you own a GTI) might be one of these...  Nothing to do with me and it might look a bit tacky, but it's cheap!

As said above it's part of the airbag unit and doesn't come off. What some people have done is stuck a different badge over the top of it. There are various different designs around. Only thing is that apparently it doesn't sit quite flush as it's on top of the other one.

 I second this. Been looking for a year to find a solution.

For a very brief time a guy in eBay was selling them and people just hacked off the old ones and glued on new ones but they can't be found anymore

Replace the air bag section you mean? Don't wanna change the wheel lol it's got yellow stitching

not the airbag just the air bag cover they come apart
