Title: So I have ordered an RNS510... Do I need an aerial adapter?
Post by: PhilNUK on September 14, 2014, 08:59:57 am
Ordered me the unit last night but googling about today an R32 site has them mention to swap pins around to prevent muffled noise from the ipod connecting via armrest and also to buy an aerial adapter? Does the edition 30 need this too?
Don't want to come to installing and not have all the required bits!

I have the code and gps antenna already.

You almost certainly need a dual fakra adapter for the 2 radio aerial connectors

Yes you need an aerial adapter.
Thanks for clearing that up..

They all the same or do I need a specific one? eBay seem to have a load of 'dual fakra' connectors. Or should I get a specific one?
