Title: Stage 2 hardware but no map?

I have found a mk6 gti up for sale

But when speaking to the seller he has told me that the car has an Apr cold air intake, Decat turbo back exhaust and s3 intercooler.

But he swears that the car has never been mapped.

Would this cause any issues with the car?

Would never be a need for mapping otherwise

I ran decat and intake for a month before having it mapped and was fine.

You don't need a map, still makes it go a bit better. Maybe it was mapped then removed, to make potential customers think its not been thrashed
