Title: Shredded tyre
Post by: Joshryan on October 05, 2014, 08:11:47 pm: So this is what croft did to my tyres!! I was only on the track for 40 minutes total! I'm just shocked I thought tyres would last a little bit longer!!

What's the other front like?
Im going with that look like AS2s to me.
Speak to Goodyear see if you can get anything out of them they test these tyres on tracks during development etc and wouldnt want one of the best high performance tyres being shown up to eat themselves like that (not saying it happens regularly). <<<--- Assuming they are goodyears!
Even if you get a contribution its better than nothing.

Post by: Joshryan on October 06, 2014, 06:54:20 pm: They are continental contact 3s. They weren't brand new around 5mm left when I went on the track. I felt them go in a corner so I came off the track! Had to drive home 100 miles!

I was pushing them pretty hard! It was my first track day so in future il expect to use a set of tyres!!!
