I'm not about until Thursday, what are my options? I've got a can or tyre weld handy but I'm not sure if it'll do the job on the side wall/ shoulder.
It was causing a major pressure leak, I managed to get to services and fill it up but was leaking quite a bit, you could hear it. Screwed the screw right in and it seems to have stopped leaking, only loosing a few psi now.
What's the best course of action for a temp 2 day solution, I need to drive 20 miles tomorrow and wed.... I'll get a new tyre Thursday

I'd put the spare on tbh, that's an accident waiting to happen. Not so bad in the tread but sidewall is a bad situation :sick:

Do remember the spare should be on the rear. Also make sure the spare is inflated to 60psi before putting it on.

Cool, thought so. Don't have enough time to fit spare so won't drive it, just get lifts until new tyres get here and fitted. Cheers for the advice.

:confused: Can fit a spare in less than 5 mins with normal jack and wrench.....

Don't have the luxury of being about during daylight hours pal ... Out at 6am in at 9pm no flat surfaces at home, it's all good tyres ordered and fitting arranged for thur am, cheers
