Anyone know if the heating element is in the Interlagos cover or the foam seat itself? I'm looking to get a quote on a repair and the labour cost is dramatically different depending...
Thanks!

I think the heater element is part of the seat cover the gti/ed30 seats. If its the element you need sorting you may have to buy a new cover with element which will be silly money. The wingback recaro seats have the heater element separate and would fit gti/ed30 seats, so if its the element you need replacing that would be the most cost effective way. Check my build thread for pics of the recaro elements as im fitting them to my wingbacks. I can get the part numbers if that helps

It may be possible to seperate them with cover removed but as regards ETKA it lists the element part combined with the seat cover
