Hello,
Quick question, I've got a set of GTi skirts which I fitted to my GT, I used the OEM fitting kit and double sided automotive tape. This was okay but over time started to peel away from the body. Anyway just recently the car was involved in an accident resulting in the passenger side trim needing a respray. The body shop refitted them using the same method. Unfortunately they've already started to peel away again. Does anyone know an alternative way of fitting (not bonding though)?

Tigerseal is good and stays rubberised so you can get it off easily too.

I thought Tiger seal was permanent?

My bad, I meant Panther seal by Britoil . PU sealant.

Looks good, but my concern is if the sill trim suffers any damage it could be pig to get off, and may damage they paint underneath?

Used it on my side skirts but cannot comment on removal. To be honest if you are replacing the side skirt the old bond will be covered if there is any residual left. As i said due to its nature it should be fine and paint should be totally fine. Should come off like plastidip.
