Hi all. I'm looking at a GTI this weekend, the only problem with it is the driver seat cover will need replacing as it's covered in marks.
Does anyone have any recommendations of where I can get it replaced either in South London, or Manchester?
Also, what sort of price would I be looking at to reupholster the driver seat?
Any help appreciated!
Cheers

It gonna depend where the damage is - if the tartan needs replacing it would be easier to get a new interior for it. The tartan fabric is a serious pain in the bum to find - took me well over a year to get some for my recaro retrim!!! If it's not the tartan that's damaged any trimmer should be able to source the fabric fairly easily and can't see it being loads of dosh

Cheers for the info! I think it's just the grey cloth so I might be ok. Will check tomorrow

Hi
I have damaged bolster on my car. What is part number for 4-door front seat cover (cloth seat)?

Part numbers are always on the thing in question, so I'd search around the base of the seat and look for a label. You'll find that it'll cost less to re-trim the seats in fresh material than get a replacement cover from VW, if they even do them.

Do you know who sells that fabric?

Mk5 GTI tartan fabric is rarer than unicorn poop.
