Maybe not of much interest to you but here's my E350 after a good clean

Nice car grandma.

Nice car grandma.
Ha ha grandma?? This is much better to drive than my Mk5 GTi was
-
Nice whip
-
Used to get one of these chasing me in my R32 'til he nearly threw it into a hedge trying to keep up on a sharp bend. He slowed up after that, presumably to check his undercrackers for soilage...

So it should be. That car would have been £10-15k more than a GTI when new.

All depends what you're using the car for and what you find is better for you
Personally for me it's an old mans car or usually driven by chauffeurs
Granted its a refined smooth drive but to compare it to a Gti saying it drives better is a bit silly as they do completely different things and are aimed at totally different drivers

It's my daily car, I have a Nissan S14a for fun so like something a bit more luxury for driving around in. I've owned a Mk5 GTI for a couple of years and very much enjoyed owning it but in my opinion it just doesn't give me the same enjoyment as my E350 does.

It's rather tail end happy

Plus I have use of a Edition30 and a Mk5 TDI if I ever fancy a spin in a golf again

He should've kept his foot in then, as it looked like understeer to me. I went left, he went straight on.
