Title: Plastic welded/soldered interior parts?

Hi Guys,


I need to replace the grab handle section behind the door card (10) and its plastic weldered/soldered to the door card. Anyone have any experience with swapping out such parts? Anyone know if VW do a repair kit as such? I could just glue it but wanna stay OEM if poss!

In the past i've had good results using expoxy resin (can't remember which) but had to leave it 24 hours to cure.

Yea I've been told this by someone else too but being an anal sod I wanted to try n go down the oem route! Ta for your advise though!

In my case it was @10 which needed repairing so seeing as it's not visible i adopted the cheap ass approach  :grin:
