Title: MK6 Climate control - what does this symbol mean?
Post by: jbenekeorr on December 22, 2014, 06:43:40 pm
Hi all,

A little query!

This evening, I pressed the button for my heated seat and noticed that the display on my RCD-510 showed a little symbol towards the top

It said 'Rear *padlock symbol*'

Anyone know what this means? It has gone now, I'm just curious as to what it means! I had just started the car, it was set to 22c, Auto, AC was off.

It does have the centre arm rest with rear vents - don't know if it could be anything to do with those vents.

The symbol was to the right of where it says 'Auto' at the top.

That's the heated seat symbol.

I know that is the heated seat symbol. As described above, the symbol I am talking about was shown to the right of 'auto' and said 'Rear' followed by a padlock.

That's the 'back door delivery' failure symbol.
