I replaced my main one which brings me up to 90 but it takes 20 - 30 mins to get there leading me to believe my inline one is gone.
I have a manual.
I don't suppose you know the part number for the inline one on the manual?

@errorinside (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=11034) I've renamed this topic to make it relevant to the question. Please can you label your threads better in future?

Hi don't suppose you know where the other 2 are? Thanks

Just to complicate numbers a bit - I have a 55 plate DSG and there is only 1 inline thermostat on mine!
However, changing it was not too difficult and really speeded up the warm up - 2-3 miles to 90 instead of 5-6miles. Great in winter!

Also, I'm pretty sure ther is a 'How to do it guide' on here.
If not, its on Youtube...

Do you think the inline thermo is in the same spot on manual and dsg?
I reckon I'll have a bash at mine. You wouldn't have a part number to hand?

I believe it is in the same place. R/H side of engine block, below the battery level. Its black, cylindrical and about 4"/100mm long.
The part number - and I believe they are all the same - 4EO 121 113.
