Hi, I am looking to fit TT RS Rotors on my gti fitment 5x112 and offset of 45. Will these wheels fit straight on without having to roll arches etc as I have normal ride height.
Kind Regards

How wide are they?

Nothing to do with width or offset, is to do with clearance
you can have two wheels 18x8 et40 one will EASILY clear TTRS brakes where as another will barely clear stock 312
best to check first if you are unsure by test fitting that's the only way to be sure.

What wheels exactly are they? Because as @xjay1337 (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=7542) said it's more about the design of wheel than just offset/ width
As an example my current wheels are 8j et45 and only just clear but I bought some 18" BBS CH reps as winters which were 8j et42 and the wern't even close to fitting, I would have needed a 12mm spacer minimum.

I think these are the wheels :innocent:

I have the 19" 8.5j version on mine and they fit over the r32 calipers nicely.
Tiny bit of scrubbing if I go over bumps with passengers but not too bad.

Am waiting for @rich83 (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=709) to be up my part of the country so can try my alloy on his car to check for clearance on his brakes :innocent:

Hes not specifically asking about clearing brakes i dont think....
I had 18x8 ET45 CHs are they were fine

Hahaha I've just realised what happened there, the wheels are called rotors and i thought he meant brake discs :rolleye:
Assuming they're either 8.5j or less then they'll fit fine :happy2:
-
Haha sorry lads! Sticking to stock brakes need me a set of fat ladies to go on the shoes! 19s should do nicely!
-
I have 19" on mine and they fit fine with just a small amount of very occasional rubbing on the arches as my car is lowered. :happy2:

Ha ha ha haah
I just realised that as well
If they are 18x8.5 et45 you'll need 205/40 or 215/35 tyres or you will look ridiculous and rub.
