Hey All,
So I need some advice and as this is the forum I use the most I thought I'd post here :) So currently I am rolling around in a BMW 1 Series which is completely standard. Now I have had Diesel cars for the last few years with a few exceptions.
I'm looking to sell the BMW soon and get something new but have no idea on what to get and was looking for some input, I have looked at a 3 series but seems the M sport versions are out of my range.
Requirements
- Diesel
- Sporty Looks
- £5000-£6000 Max
Any ideas?

I owned a Civic type-s 2.2 ctdi, remapped to 180bhp, not quite a BMW but was nice to drive and quite sporty looking.. should be a few of them kicking around
-
170bhp version VAG's ie Leon Golf A3. Or even a 140bhp tdi with a map.......
The Civic 2.2 drives nice but IMO a bit grandad looking.

Hey Mate
Cheers for the input, I've had all 3 such as Leon, Golf Skoda etc
-
It's also worth noting I do like 50 miles in the week and then say maybe 150 at the weekend
So roughly 200 miles a week
-
Do you need a diesel? I wouldn't say you're necessarily better off with only 200 miles a week.
-
Yes I wouldn't exclude petrol on that mileage.
-
Get a petrol I do 300-350 miles a week and drive the edition 30 and I'm 20 so nooooooo excuses haha :driver:
-
I spoend £30 on fuel though every 10 days :)
-
I spend £60 every 6-7 days :signLOL:
-
Hahah even when I kained the diesel I spent £35 a week ahha

It's ALL about SMILES Per Gallon :jumping:

ahahha I am trying to save for a house :) plus when I had my DC5 that took £80 a week
-
Keep the car you've got if you're saving for a mortgage and wanting to be sensible.

The timing chain is on it's way out and on the 07 model you need to remove the whole engine to get it changed

Ok, you flogging it to trade?
-
I hope so or some poor next owner is going to be :scared: in a few months.
I'd just got usual leon golf gt tdi / cupra diesel usual suspects.

Might be best to flog to trade rather than an individual, someone could hold a grudge...
