Title: Professional CV writing , is it worth it?

Hi

I'm thinking of updating my CV as I'm job hunting and was wondering it anyone has paid to have their CV done and it's worked out ?

Or if anyone has some tips on a where to get a good template from?

I was made redundant from the MoD a few years back and they got a company in to write CV's for us all. I made a few changes and tweaked it slightly and was successful in getting a job with it! I have used it since when moving into a different section. Other people have also used it to do their own. Can send you a copy if you want something to get an idea from.
