Title: Glove box noise

Anybody else have a ticking kind of noise coming from glove box area! I'm 100% sure it's something to do with the climet control is it stops when I turn the heat up. only does it when the temp is on low of the blowers are turn off.

It's the little motors that control various different flaps. I had one that would click very loudly which I ended up replacing. When I took it apart some of the teeth were missing on the cog so the loud clicking I was getting was it trying to turn on the missing teeth.

Is there just one motor? Any part numbers? As mine makes the same noise, or do I need to take it out first then get the part?

Worryingly i get this occasionally and this also fell out from under passenger side dash few months ago  :surprised:

Everything seems to still work fine though so leaving well alone

it is very annoying. but like you say everything seems to work fine. the only thing that doesn't work as it should is the blower in the center for back seats. can feel a slight breeze from it but thats about it. from the sound i can imagine it being a gear or cog. will investigate a bit more. was a issue last year but as it has been winter i have always had the blowers on hot so kind of forgot about it.

yep will be one of the hvac motors. theres lots! they are very loud in my car and spoil the car
