Title: Which is the best intercooler to go for ?
Post by: jhook661 on April 12, 2015, 10:04:50 am: Morning all I've currently got golf gti on Revo stage 1 just removed pre cat runs so much nicer now ! :laugh: Milltek non res bat back Revo intake I want too in the near future go for stage 2+ / k04 I was wondering would a s3 intercooler be good for it ? Apparently they can take high 300's or airtec or ths or dark side developments be best ? Any advice/experience would be helpful :happy2:

Post by: mk5-beast-91 on April 12, 2015, 10:19:06 am: peron seem to be a awesome intercooler and not that expensive either. im running the airtec intercoolers and there great for my needs. intake temps are nice and low and easy install. build quality is great as well. i personally wouldnt go for s3 intercoller if going k04 setup. id want better cooling but it depends how much you wanna spend.

On one pull yes, then as it gets hotter it will drop bhp each time.

A good uprated cooler will keep the same power after back to back runs.

Of course.... hence the peron being 5 times more expensive. If you just want stage 2+ and not bothered about number chasing then s3 is fine.

Am running ths and ac is fine.
