Just after some advice and opinions please. I found this exhaust on eBay which is ridiculously cheap and I'm wondering if it's too good to be true. I'm thinking of going stage 2 but I'm saving for a house so trying to keep costs down but every week I'm still finding things to do on the car.

Save your money for the house :happy2:

That's extremely cheap I paid £225 just for my sports cat alone. Ignore @bigeyd (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=3745) just live in the car
-
Well 14 sold and 79,000 items sold at 99% positive feedback they seller must be doing something right!
Does seem silly cheap but if only needs a bit of fettling to get a decent fit and the 200 cell cat id what he says then could deffinately be a bargain here
-
I bought this exact downpipe two weeks ago, fitment is bang on. has a nice vband connection after the cat also. Welds seem pretty good too. id definatly recommend it!

Can it bolt straight onto standard system mate?
-
yes that's how mine is. The pipe that connects after the cat steps down to 2.5 inch and bolts straight up to the original pipework. I will upload a few pics once my phone has been fixed tomorrow with any luck

Does this effect the sound/power of the car much?
-
Thanks for pics
Really does look absolute bargin for the money
Can I fit a sport cat to standard car chaps or would it require mapping afterwards?
-
Shame it wouldnt fit onto a milltek cat back system. It looks a real good fit tho!
-
My car isnt mapped and its fine. The exhaust tone is different and the car does pick up a bit better
-
It looks awesome and I think this may be my next purchase  thanks for the pics :happy2:
-
Make sure you fit a solid or a insert to the dogbone mount to stop the engine from moving so much or they will crack due to the flexi being so short. Cheap and nasty but I've got one and it does the job :signLOL:
-
Way ahead of ya! Fitted ecs insert from awesome
-
Had mine on there for bout 18 months now cracked once so i cut and welded a longer flexi in it. From to much abuse though :happy2:
